MEET IN ALBANY! - But there is plenty of stuff to do around here -- it's just that, unlike one of those big metros, you maybe have to put a bit more effort into finding them. We are a group of volunteers dedicated to improving childhood literacy.
City Line is a great place to meet friends. Drink specials are good. If you deide to go, parking can be challenging; however, aditional parking is available. Chek their web site for information on parking. When I went a Friday night , it was busy. However, there was not a problem getting a drink. We had heard much about this new burger bar, and looked forward to trying the menu. Unfortunately, the hype didn't meet the food. Our apps - while good - took forever to arrive. The garlic sauce was more garlic than sauce. And our requested medium and medium-rare burgers both arrived medium-well to well. Finally - and granted it's a small point which we should have mentioned before departure - but the change back from our payment didn't include any of the silver. Was it worth fighting over 30 cents on a 30 dollar! No need - we don't think we'll be back. I have to start with the bars very nice decor, we all had an enjoyable meal a d service from waitress ok, we had a bit of a wait but not too bad as place busy and it was nice to sit and chat and sup on a beer.. The girls out for their monthly Friday night dinner. I understand that this place formerly had a not so good reputation but you would never know it. This is the first time that I've been to this place since it was Sutters. The atmosphere is great. The service is average at best. It's a nice place to go meet up with friends and have a few drinks, but sit at the bar. If you were hoping for a rebuilt version of the former college bar Sutters, this might be a disappointment. Out with the old, in with the new. They rebuilt it from the ground up after Sutters was gutted by a fire, and they spared no expense to turn it into a classy watering hole. I really love it in warm weather when they open the back wall of the bar onto the back patio. They have a good selection of beers on tap. Food is decent but sometimes hit or miss. It's become a very popular happy hour spot for the professional set. It's definitely not the underage dive bar it once was.
